My week here in Santa Clara, CA is almost over, and I’m starting to plan the route; for heading back home. I took the I5, then the 101 to get down to North Califorina. So, I would want to take some other routes to head back up. Unfortunately, I only have a weekend to get back home, so longer back roads are out of the question. Which leaves me with the I5 all the way to BC, which is a very boring road. A colleague here at work suggested that I would pass by Crater Lake, OR. Not having any other ideas, I decided to go for it. Thus the route back would be as following:
I would leave Friday evening after work, and spend the night @ Redding, CA. This would allow me, again, to cover some distance which would give me some more freedom on Saturday to spend some time in Crater Lake, OR.
